This logic was confused in the presence of inlined frames; the deopt exit offset would point inside the innermost inlined frame while we incorrectly assumed it points at the outermost frame. Fix this by always referring to the bytecode offset of the outermost frame. This is a reland of commit 62632c08. Reason for previous revert: Performance regressions crbug.com/1315724. The reland only optimizes strict equal boolean literal like "a===true" or "a===false", and we generate TestReferenceEqual rather than TestStrictEqual for the comparasion. And also add typed optimization for ReferenceEqual when all inputs are boolean with boolean constant. This CL extends GetIterator to check whether the result of calling @@iterator is JSReceiver and throw SymbolIteratorInvalid if it's not JSReceiver. GetIterator bytecode involves 3 steps now: - method = GetMethod(obj, @@iterator) - iterator = Call(method, obj) - if(!IsJSReceiver(iterator)) throw SymbolIteratorInvalid [Added] New Builtin: CallIteratorWithFeedbackLazyDeoptContinuation, which is used when lazy deopt is triggered by call @@iterator. For strict equal boolean literal like "a===true" or "a===false", we could generate TestReferenceEqual rather than TestStrictEqual. And in `execution_result()->IsTest()` case, we could directly emit JumpIfTrue/JumpIfFalse. Nodes can now hold a LazyDeoptSafepoint which stores the frame state in case they trigger a lazy deopt. OpProperties have a new CanLazyDeopt bit, and codegen emits a safepoint table entry + lazy deopt for all nodes with this bit. Also, we now check the deoptimized code bit on entry into the maglev compiled function. An example use of these lazy deopts is added as a PropertyCell fast path for LdaGlobal, which adds a code dependency on the property cell. - Restructure the runtime function implementation. - Rename osr_loop_nesting_level to osr_urgency and add helpers. The motivation for the latter: I've always struggled with the `osr_loop_nesting_level` term; it neither matches terminology of what it's compared against (= the loop depth), nor implies what it's used for (= osr is triggered when `loop depth < osr nesting level`). In this CL it's renamed to `osr_urgency` to reflect that as urgency rises, we consider more and more loops as OSR candidates. Instead of using runtime lookups of various bytecode properties (like whether they read/write the accumulator, what their operands do to registers, etc), do a switch over the bytecode itself once and dispatch to update methods that are templated on the bytecode and statically know everything about it. Bytecode liveness needs a mapping from offset to liveness. This was previously a hashmap with a very weak hash (the identity function) and both inserts and lookups showed up as a non-trivial costs during compilation. Now, replace the hashmap with a simple flat array of liveness, indexed by offset, pre-sized to the size of the bytecode. This will have a lot of empty entries, but will have much better runtime performance and probably ends up not much less memory efficient as a hashmap if the hashmap has to resize inside the Zone, and is likely negligible compared to the other compilation memory overheads. Handle the case of nested super() by checking if the class scope contains a private brand. In this case the ContextScope chain is different from the actual context chain so this added back the AddPrivateBrand() runtime function but with the additional step of walking the context chain to get the correct class context that will be stored as the value of the brand property for the debugger. Add JumpLoop to the list of bytecodes that unconditionally exit a block, so that bytecodes are not emitted after a JumpLoop until there's a bound label. As a drive by, fix the bytecode random iterator's initialisation to use 'done()' directly (the old condition worked for Return, but was failing for wide JumpLoops that ended the bytecode). This is a reland of 91f08378 When the class scope does not need a context, the deserialized outer scope of the initializer scope would not be the class scope, and we should not and do not need to use it to fix up the allocation information of the context-allocated variables. The original patch did not consider this case and resulted in a regression when we tried to reparse the initializer function to look for destructuring assignment errors. This fixes the regression by not deserializing the class scope that's going to be reparsed, and using the positions of the scopes to tell whether the scope info matches the reparsed scope and can be used to fix up the allocation info.
