It will be reused by other muxers and demuxers.

wv.c will be used for shared wavpack functions.
-
Anton Khirnov authored
Currently the demuxer shaves the blocks and exports only the information that is useful to the decoder. Exporting the blocks just as they are stored is simpler to understand and will make remuxing wavpack easier.

This fixes the situation when there are not enough entries in the index (e.g. on initial seek there's only one index entry in the index) and index search returns just the last known entry. That causes seeking function just to seek there instead of trying harder to get at the requested position. Signed-off-by: Luca Barbato <lu_zero@gentoo.org>

Currently for multichannel audio position for the last block position is stored in index (and used for seeking), which is obviously not correct. Signed-off-by: Luca Barbato <lu_zero@gentoo.org>

It is pretty hopeless that other considerable projects will adopt libavutil alone in other projects. Projects that need small footprint are better off with more specialized libraries such as gnulib or rather just copy the necessary parts that they need. With this in mind, nobody is helped by having libavutil and libavcore split. In order to ease maintenance inside and around FFmpeg and to reduce confusion where to put common code, avcore's functionality is merged (back) to avutil.
